Google Wave meets the Swedish Chef

Google Wave allows you to create custom bots that can do lots of things on a wave (message thread), including translating on the fly. There was a very cool demonstration of this at the Developer Preview at Google I/O.

One of the bots is Swedish Chef, which to me is both extremely funny, but also incredibly annoying..especially with other people unleash this bot on your wave. This bot will translate your blip (message) into something that the Swedish Chef would say.

    Original:

    Capture-2009-07-30_130510

    Tranlation:

    Capture-2009-07-30_130518

For those that have a google wave account, to add the bot to your wave, add borkforceone@appspot.com.Type LEAVEMEALONE in all caps, and the Swedish Chef will ignore your blip.

  • David Machiavello's Space

I normally ramble about food, tech, photography and tennis (they're the things i love).

Who am I? I'm a Software developer who loves to cook and play tennis. I also spend way too much absorbing the internet...i really should step away.

Where else can you find me?
