This looks like great news, Youtube seems to be phasing out support for IE6, and for that I give them kudos. It's been a long time coming and long awaited for the developer community that large sites like Youtube (and other sites popular with Mom 'n Pop) force users to use modern browsers because so much time is wasted trying to get features to work correctly with IE6.
As a developer myself, I love this and I can't wait until the day when I never have to consider designing for IE6.
