David Machiavello

It’s so cold in the house right now (it’s 39 outisde) and a Latte would certainly hit the spot. So being the awesome husband that I am, I made a couple of homemade Lattes for Jennifer and I. They turned out really great.

I took this picture after tasting how delicious it was, realizing I should snap a picture.

Today I’m working from home, which I’m glad for, since it’s cold outside, and I’m on my couch wrapped up in blankets. Mollie (our kitty) is seen here keeping me company while trying her best to make me sleepy.

I love watching her sleep, she’s so cute.

For the girls’ cookie swap this past Sunday, Jennifer and I made over 200 buckeyes. I took pics of the first batch just after getting dipped in chocolate. They came out really great.

It’s no secret that I love stormy weather (only if I don’t have to be out driving in it, of course). These past couple of days have been great, nothing but rain. What’s not to like? I get a pretty awesome lake view in back of our apartment when it rains like this!

What the picture doesn’t convey are the sounds of all the frogs croaking (it’s pretty insane). My video camera doesn’t pick up sound that far away so I can’t really take a video of it, but at least you can enjoy the same lake view I get when it rains like this.

(please note, in normal conditions, there isn’t any water here whatsoever, this is pretty flooded)
